CausalPhylo is released under the CausalPhylo Source Available License.

Permitted at no charge¶

Personal, academic, educational, and research use — including copying, modifying, merging, and distributing the software and derivative works.

Requires a separate licence¶

Commercial use, including selling the software or services built on it, incorporating it into commercial products, or using it to generate revenue.

Attribution and warranty¶

The copyright notice and permission notice must be included in all copies or substantial portions of the software. The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind.

This is not an open-source licence

"Source available" means the source is published and readable. It is not an OSI-approved licence, and the non-commercial restriction means it is not free software. Read the full text before depending on it in any product.
